An 'outside jobs' day

Created: Thursday, 02 November 2017

It was a holiday in France today, 1st November, and I got up at a decent hour with all good intentions to knock off a long list of indoor jobs.
But first I stuck my nose outside to see just how cold it was.
Not at all bad!!
I puttered around for a bit, trimmed back the vine over the kitchen door, and retreated inside for a cup of tea.
Hmm. Still no central heating on, and actually warmer outside.
I popped back out and raked a bit of lawn.
And so it went on. Until dark and another glorious sunset.
Too much good weather to paint ceilings.
